One of the most difficult issues facing parents today is how to deal with technology. And it’s not just a problem for the children, but one for the parents, as well. How do moms model a proper use of technology to their children? Besides looking at the example she is setting for her children, mom also needs to decide on practical matters such as: How much time should my child spend looking at a screen? What can I do to protect my children from exposure to pornography? And what do I need to be thinking about that I’m not even aware of? Michele Faehnle tackles some of these problems, sharing what has worked in her own family. This talk is a great conversation starter for further discussion.
Michele is a contributor to Catholic Mom, co-director of the Columbus Catholic Women’s Conference, and coauthor of Divine Mercy for Moms and The Friendship Project. She works as a nurse at her children’s parish school.
