Born into an important Portuguese Family, his father being a politician, young Anthony wanted to sacrifice his life to be a martyr for Christ in Morocco. Nevertheless, God had other plans for Anthony when he met some humble traveling Franciscans, and he left his studies to follow Francis and spread the Gospel. Listen to this exciting story of a beloved saint! Bonus track "All Praise is Yours" was written and recorded by the San Damiano Youth group during their 2010 Srodowisko at Quiet Water's Cabrini Center in Collins Center, NY.
The Truth to Inspire Series seeks to bring to life stories of the saints in audiobook format. These narrated stories with voices and sound effects bring to life the books of Mary Fabyan Windeatt. Learn how these normal people struggled and sought God's will in their choices.
