The mother of the Maccabean Martyrs displayed great faith in God as Creator and, therefore, in the Resurrection. Read through 2 Maccabees 7 and reflect on the virtue of faith and trust in God in light of the martyrs’ story. How can you more fully entrust yourself and your family to God with a greater faith that he is in control?
