The Catholic Church cares about every BODY. Think of relics and funerals–reverence for our bodies and the body’s of holy people is part of being Catholic. But why? We find the answer at the end of the Creed: “I believe in the resurrection of the body and life everlasting.” That’s a pretty strong statement and it’s founded on Jesus. Because Jesus rose from the dead, we can look forward to our own body’s being raised at the end of time. Pretty cool, right?
