Although this may not have been according to Mary and Martha’s timeline, the Lord was faithful to Lazarus, the “one that he loved.” The Lord is faithful to our prayers too—for the ones we love—who are suffering from addiction, abuse, who are away from the Church, or angry. Let us pray with confidence this Lent that the Lord will answer our prayers for we are “the ones he loves.”
