Where are the sacraments found in the Bible?

The sacraments are biblically based — meaning they were given to us by Jesus himself. We see, taste, touch, and smell the elements of the sacraments, but what we don’t see is the invisible reality that the sacraments are God encountering us, and changing us from the inside out. God actually does something amazing in the sacraments: he gives us his own life.
