The end of life is a privileged time: we can experience healing in our relationships as we make amends with God, family, and friends and prepare for the last step of our journey to eternity.
For many individuals and families, the end of life can be a challenging time filled with the unknown. However, the evening of our life can be a beautiful time to unite our suffering and death to Christ’s own Passion, allowing him to transform us and our sacrifice. Let us take full advantage of this precious time to prepare for our encounter with the Lord face-to-face.
“The most important point is to be present to your loved one. Don’t be afraid to talk about the elephant in the room.”
