Why doesn't God just heal people?

This is one of the most difficult questions. Here’s the truth: God sometimes does heal people miraculously. The Catechism tells us, God wants to heal us on the deepest level, He wants to heal our soul. God never directly wills illness and suffering. When we’re sick, God does not always heal us physically. But God does offer us strength and grace to endure suffering and unite it to His passion, so we can experience the Resurrection with Him. God offers us healing through the sacraments.
