The Holy Spirit is often depicted as fire because it is powerful and it changes things. The Sacrament of Confirmation, which seals us with the Holy Spirit, is life-changing, too! Confirmation incorporates us more firmly into the body of Christ. It also strengthens our bond with the Church and her mission, and helps us live out our faith in word and deeds!
