"Behold, the dwelling of God is with men. He will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself will be with them" (Rev 21:3). Though Revelation is often seen as the book of doom and gloom, it is actually given to the Church as a mysterious vision of the heavenly liturgy and eternal union with God. St. John's vision reveals how God longs to come and gather the Church to himself as a Bride in the eternal Wedding Feast of the Lamb.
