Perhaps you've experienced an ice-cold stream of disappointments, misunderstandings, and various hurts that have tempted you to close your heart to others. Perhaps you've also given in to some of those temptations, and your heart has become insensitive and hard. If so, then this session is especially for you. Actually, it's for everyone. I say this because all of us, in one way or another, have let at least some hardness take hold of our hearts. May this section help us overcome this "primary sin of man," so we might better console Jesus in the members of his body.
