Maybe the announcement "Bingo Thursday Nights" held your attention for the first time. Or perhaps you remember a time when you went into the church itself, knelt down to pray, and your mind raced to other plans and activities, to anything but prayer. Of course, distractions in prayer are common, but have you ever gone through those times when you actually welcomed distractions so as to avoid Jesus? Why do we do that? Why do we sometimes avoid the Lord?
