Maybe get a box of Kleenex for this episode! Chris is talking with one of the most profound men he has ever met, Dr. Bob Schuchts. After spending more than 30 years as a therapist, Dr. Bob founded the John Paul II Center for Healing, where his team leads a number of healing retreats for individuals and couples who want to encounter the healing love of Jesus Christ.
Chris and Dr. Bob walk through the actual marriage vows said in the Catholic sacrament of matrimony and talk about what they mean, and Dr. Bob reflects on his own marriage with his wife Margie, who died six years ago.
Think this episode is only for married people? Think again! You may have heard Chris say before that sometimes you think in life without thinking about WHAT you’re thinking. Dr. Bob also talks about how to identify the “false vows” that we may have been living out of (whether consciously or unconsciously) and how to renounce those vows and take every thought captive for Christ!
This is such a beautiful conversation and Chris so excited to share. Share it with friends and family who are single, engaged, newly married, or who have been married 50+ years! It’s THAT good! ❤️🔥
