Muchas personas hoy en día creen en Dios, pero ellos lo ven como un Dios muy distante y nada personal, un Dios que creó el universo y lo puso en movimiento, pero que tiene poco interés o preocupación de Su creación o incluso de nosotros como seres humanos. Nada podría estar más distante de la verdad. No sólo Dios nos creó a Su imagen y semejanza, sino que también después de la desobediencia (Caída) de nuestros primeros padres Adán y Eva, Dios deseó revelarse a Sí mismo en una forma muy real y personal a través de toda la historia de la salvación, culminando en la Encarnación de Su propio Hijo, Jesucristo.
