Blessed James of Ulm was a 15th-century Dominican cooperator brother renowned for his exquisite stained-glass work, which he learned from his father and perfected in religious life. Known for his humility, obedience, and charity, James produced masterpieces of sacred art and performed numerous works of mercy, with several miracles attributed to him. He died in 1491 and was later beatified, remembered as both a holy friar and a master craftsman of stained glass.
