The Sanctuary Youth Series
Session Seven: What Can I Do to Take Care of My Mental Health?
Episode 7
•
22m
In this session the main message is that self-care is for everyone. God wants us to be loving towards ourselves, just as much as we are towards other people. There’s lots of activities we can do to rest and re-energize, because it’s less important what we do than how or why we do it. Students will learn about the self-care activities that help them connect with others, themselves, the world, and God.
This session features the story of Emmalynne, who lives with anxiety. Students who resonate with Emmalynne’s experience are encouraged to talk to a trusted adult, doctor, or counselor.
