Who is the Holy Spirit, and how does he work in the life of the Church? In this episode, Fr. Ken Geraci explains what Catholics believe about the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Most Holy Trinity, the love proceeding from the Father and the Son.
This episode explores the Holy Spirit’s presence throughout Scripture, his role as the author of the Bible, the symbols used to depict him, and the way he fills the baptized with sanctifying grace. Fr. Geraci also explains the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit, the ordinary and extraordinary ways the Spirit works, and how Catholics can cooperate with his grace.
Whether you want to understand the Holy Spirit more deeply or grow in relationship with him through prayer, this episode offers a clear Catholic explanation of the Spirit’s identity, action, and presence in the Church today. Watch to grow in your understanding and pray, “Come, Holy Spirit.”
