We all experience a lot of desires, every single day. Food, water, safety, friends, beauty, truth. But some of these desires, and the things that satisfy them, are deeper than others. Some desires are so strong and deep that people will give up everything to keep seeking them out —things like love and beauty. Why do we have these deeper desires?
