"Have mercy on us and on the whole world." Join the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal in praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet and asking God to shower his mercy upon us. While originally planned to be released closer to Divine Mercy Sunday, we have moved up our release date to encourage all people to pray that God's mercy helps to console the suffering, give peace to the anxious, wisdom to our pastors, and renew all people in their trust in the Lord: Jesus, I trust in you.
"Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion — inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself."
The Divine Mercy Chaplet features breathtaking footage from Martin Jernberg which helps us to experience the beauty and breadth of the world and the Catholic Church with whom and for whom we are praying.
Included in the video are the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal in New York and Honduras, the Sisters of Life at Times Square, the Brothers of Saint John in the Philippines, the Missionaries of Charity in Calcutta and the OFMs in the Holy Land.
