A lot of misconceptions exist about St. Patrick and his feast day in modern America. Instead of celebrating one of the greatest missionaries in the history of the Church, people tend to observe St. Patrick’s Day by indulging, but there’s so much more to know about St. Patrick than a shamrock and a pint!
This week I talk to a true Irishman and friend, Eddie Cotter, about Ireland and St. Patrick’s legacy. We discuss the dangers of over-drinking, the heroic history of Catholics in Ireland, and the legacy of St. Patrick, which is just as relevant today as it was a thousand years ago. We also talk about Eddie’s ministry, the Dead Theologians Society.
Whether you want to know more about the great St. Patrick, you love Ireland or you’re just looking for some inspiration in your Faith, you’ll definitely want to check out our conversation!
