Baptism changes us — it gives us the ability to act over and above our nature. This transformation changes our earthly life and our everlasting life, and gives us a whole new family. Because of our baptism, we’re able to have faith, hope, and love, and we become adopted sons and daughters of God. God gives us birth into new life through the Sacrament of Baptism.
