What Does the Catholic Church say about Freedom and Morality?

As human beings, we have free will, or, the freedom to choose how we behave in every situation. Our freedom comes with responsibility for our actions. We are responsible for choosing between right and wrong. Which means before any action we should discern: what is the right way to act in this situation? This is what we call morality. God has revealed to us clearly what acts are evil and what acts are good (what goodness looks like) in the 10 Commandments and the Beatitudes.
