We Need Each Other: Ideas to Make, Keep, and Strengthen Friendship
Episode 5 • 23m
Mothers need the support of good friends but when schedules are full and sleep is deprived, it’s often hard for mothers to put forth the effort to keep friendships alive. This, added with the illusion of the intimacy of social media, keeps many mothers from having close and supportive friends. Emily Jaminet not only discusses the reasons why friends are hard to make and keep, but she also gives practical tips on how moms can form these relationships. She goes a step further by encouraging moms to develop friendships that are spiritually intimate, as well.
Emily is a contributor to Catholic Mom and coauthor of Divine Mercy for Moms and The Friendship Project Book. She serves on the leadership team of the Columbus Catholic Women’s Conference.
