This lesson begins by looking at ways to build a solid foundation for a healthy relationship with our children. Affection is the cornerstone and the anchor that establishes the child firmly in the family unit. It gives a sense of security, belonging, and a conviction of being loved unconditionally even when discipline is necessary. Affection helps the child to see the relationship with their parents independently from any action that might have disappointed them.
